We had a lovely time – the apartment was perfect and a fab base to explore the region. We did a fair few beaches (Sa Reira definitely a hit with our 2 year old). Plus Figures, Girona, Peratallada, Old Pals, Llafranc and of course Besalu … the weather was very kind to us so all in all a huge success!

Everything was perfect: your directions, the apartment & its facilities and, most of all, the location. What a beautiful area! We had a good look round and found some unexpectedly pretty coves and beaches. You might like to add Hostel Sa Tuna to your restaurant list – superb! Not the cheapest, but great for a long lunch on hot day

We had a fantastic time, visited a few great beaches (Sa Reira, Aigublava) and rarely got the kids out of the pool. Had one day in Barcelona – v hot but worthwhile. 32oC most days in Pals – didn’t see a cloud in the sky all week.

We had a very pleasant time although he first week when it reached 40o C we feared we might never leave the pool. It cooled down to about 30o C - 35o C after that. Your directions from the airport were excellent.

I spoke to you last year about the possibility of renting your apartment. However in the end we ended up in a villa in the area. It was your website that attracted us to the area of Pals in the first place and over the past 2 weeks it has been our ‘bible’. Your web site pointed us to some fantastic beaches and 2 evenings spent eating in Peratallada were wonderful. Although I do apologies for not renting your apartment I did want to take the chance to say thanks for your great web site, it really did make a difference to our holiday and we will definitely be visiting the area again. Keep up the good work – the local Tourist office really should pay you a commission!!

The weather did cooperate somewhat to allow golf and a quick dip in the sea.

We enjoyed our week in Spain especially revisiting the local area and Girona. Barcelona was absolutely brilliant and we would love to have spent longer there. The grounds and pool are well looked after. Thanks for all the information on the area, which we found very helpful. We ate out every night and we particularly enjoyed Mas Pou - good food and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time – your apartment is very nice, very comfortable and well appointed. My wife thought the pictures were really nice and was wondering where you got them. I joked that if I had a screwdriver I would have brought them home!
It was very quiet, with only a few people, mostly Spanish around at the weekend. The weather was great – about 22-23 degrees and sunny. The evenings were a bit chilly but no rain!
Your directions and the advice about the region, shops and restaurants were very helpful. We took your advice and drove to Flaca and then the train to Barcelona. We also drove to Port de la Selva where we spent many happy holidays many years ago. It has changed very little but we agreed we would prefer, when returning, to stay in Pals.

We had a very good week in your apartment. It was certainly a very convenient and comfortable place to stay and we made good use of the pool in between visits to Pals Beach and other coves. Visiting out of school holiday was a bonus because of the lack of crowds.
Thank you very much for all the information which was helpful. We would certainly be interested in using the apartment again, because we know there are many places we did not manage to visit – Gerona and Barcelona in particular.

We had a lovely holiday, saw lots of the surrounding area and were very impressed with the old medieval villages of Pals, Peratallada and Palau Sator. The golf was excellent despite the electronic storms which were spectacular. We had lots of lovely meals out and thought the location of your apartment was excellent and in such a lovely setting. We enjoyed being able to sit out on the terrace in the evening and the pool was excellent. I’m sure we will return to cover all the things we didn’t get time for. We would particularly like to see the Dali Museum in Figures.

Firstly can I say your web site is extraordinary. I have been to it numerous times to get information on the surrounding area and still haven’t exhausted it. It is first class.
Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our time at your fabulous holiday spot in Spain. We loved the variety of beaches, towns, history and foods that were on offer. The apartment was perfect. For the most part there were only 5 or 6 other residents there although the weather was still great.
We’d love to think we’ll be back sometime.
